The Gazette reports five local teenagers, two 11-year old children, and one adult were injured on Powers Boulevard Friday night when a vehicle driven by Merrianne McDowell, 37, made an improper left turn in front of the teen's vehicle. Four of the five teens and one 11-year-old were not wearing seat belts.
